“On Thanksgiving Day we acknowledge our dependence” – William Jennings Bryan
As 2014 comes to an end at Dent-Coulson Elder Law, we reflect on how blessed we have been to earn great results for so many amazing people this year. We take great pride in working as a team with our clients to meet their planning goals. It is our mission to help families avoid losing their hard-earned money paying for long term care, so they can preserve their financial ability to make life better for the loved ones they will leave behind.
No one asks to have to deal with problems like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or a stroke, and the potential impact can be financially devastating both for the individual, and for his or her family. Families confronting these situations are at a vulnerable time, having to deal with very unfamiliar legal and financial challenges, as well as managing the personal and medical challenges involved with the disease itself. Dealing with large, sometimes difficult entities like the government, banks and insurance companies can be extremely intimidating and stressful.
We want to send this message of thanks as we bring to a close another year of having been afforded the great privilege of being of service to our clients at such a critical time in their lives. It is a pleasure to help them achieve their planning goals and maintain their dignity after a lifetime of hard work and savings. We realize how much it means to our clients to be able to make life better for their children, grandchildren and other loved ones, and how much it means to their families to be able to accomplish that in a way that enhances, rather than compromises, the quality of the care their elders receive.
We also want to thank the growing number of clients who share our vision that the best time to deal with these issues and challenges is in advance of their time of need. We love sharing with them the joy and peace of mind that come from knowing that, whatever challenges lie ahead for them in traversing life’s road, they have planned well for it and know their families will be taken care of.
